The Black Ghosts ‘I Want Nothing’

We’re proud to be releasing the new single, “Ultra Hot Volcano,” from Men Women & Children. This will be their first new material in over two years, and will be out digitally and 7″ vinyl. They will be selling these vinyl at their May shows (which you can view here).

Last December, The Black Ghosts (or at least one half of TBG, Simon Lord) was in LA to play a week of shows, and during that time, he stopped by Indie 103.1 FM where he did an interview and performance on Paul V’s “Neon Noise” show. We finally have youtube footage of that - you can watch the video of Simon’s main performance below, and the other two videos (of the interview and of TBG’s encore performance of “Any Way You Choose To Give It”) can be found in their video section (just scroll down a little).

944 Magazine just put up an interview they did with us here at IAMSOUND. It’s a fun read and we’re flattered that 944 wanted to interview us - read it here!

The Black Ghosts will be in America for the next couple of weeks, playing a series of shows in Austin at SXSW next week and then doing a run of West Coast tour dates, hitting Seattle, San Francisco, LA and Orange County. Find all of the dates here - see everyone there!

Congrats to Cut Off Your Hands for being at the top of the Club NME charts this week! The biggest NME DJs in the UK are absolutely loving their new song “Oh Girl.” You can get their Shaky Hands EP on webstore.

Pitchfork put up a story today about the Sunny Day Sets Fire remix EP out tomorrow the 26th - check it out here! The writer says “Pretty impressive for a bunch of upstarts” and we’d like to agree, of course.
