After non-stop worldwide touring and festival appearances since the release of their 2013 debut EP Northern Lights, Kate Boy add new dates in the U.S. this fall. The tour includes stops at The Roxy in Los Angeles, a visit to New York City for CMJ, as well as a performance at Glasslands in Brooklyn. See below for full routing.
“Self Control,” the latest single from the Stockholm-based trio, recently premiered at Pitchfork (http://bit.ly/1tWmvnh) and will be released on iTunes August 19. The track serves as a preview to their highly anticipated, self-produced debut LP. Kate Boy spoke to SPIN in February and said, “…now we know what we want to do. So you just have to apply that fact of knowing what to do and what sound to create and what direction to go in.” Read more here (http://go.spin.com/1eaKBpW). Details on the album’s release are coming soon.
