In a continued partnership with IAMSOUND, Independent Label Market Presented by Search Party, returned to Los Angeles for its third installment on December 8th, 2013, for its inaugural Holiday Market. For the first time, Independent Label Market: Los Angeles Holiday Edition took place at the newly renovated, famed Mack Sennett Studios, where more than just records were available for attendees. The MOCA Store was onsite to sell a variety of art/music items and books, and Silverlake’s Sqirl restaurant offered their delicious brioche toasts and selling their famous homemade jams. Additionally, Eighty Two – a new bar and classic arcade located in downtown LA, supplied the bar and one of their best games, Street Fighter II, for patrons, and Handsome Coffee Roasters served some of their finest brew. Finally, for the ladies (or gents!), Nailswag set up a nail-art pop up booth.

Since launching in London in 2011, Independent Label Market invites collectors of vinyl and all music fans to interact directly with the founders of some the world’s greatest Independent Record Labels on both sides of the Atlantic. Here, they sell their fresh vinyl produce directly to the public- think farmers market for music lovers.

Participating labels included: 100% Silk, Anti-, Burger , Concord Music Group (Stax, Fantasy, Hear Music), Dangerbird, Delicious, Echo Park Records, Eenie Meenie, Everloving, Frontier, Hit City USA, Hydra Head, IAMSOUND, IHEARTCOMIX, Innovative Leisure, Mad Decent, Manimal Vinyl, Mono Prism, Ninja Tune, No Sleep, Not Not Fun, Now Again, Origami, Permanent, Record Makers, Stones Throw, White Iris and Williams Street
