In spring of 2014, Vans once again partnered with IAMSOUND for the third straight year to present the Classic & City Events series celebrating Vans’ heritage footwear, Classics. The free event series kicked off in the U.S. with events taking place in Brooklyn, Chicago and Los Angeles. The series ran over the span of four weeks in April and May featuring live performances from critically acclaimed musical acts, an interactive video installation by NuCalifornia, giveaways of customized Vans Classics and limited edition totes and tees by local designers and a special tribute to Vans’ iconic symbol, the Sidestripe.
