Independent Label Market returned to Los Angeles for a second run of music discovery. This time IAMSOUND partnered with Myspace to bring an even larger selection of records. Many labels returned for a second year, and we were happy to welcome some newcomers, including Dangerbird, Brushfire, Concord Music Group, Goaty Tapes, Mono Prism, No Kings, and Williams Street. With the great buzz from last year’s market, label owners met with loads of new music-lovers and sold out of their best vinyls. This year also attracted in more food trucks like Komodo, Brazil Kiss, Juicebox and CoolHaus.
Participating labels included: 100% Silk, Anticon, Brushfire, Burger, Concord Music Group, Cool Summer, Dangerbird, Delicious Vinyl, Dirty Bird, Eenie Meenie, Everloving, Friends of Friends, Goaty Tapes, Hit City USA, Hydra Head, IAMSOUND, Innovative Leisure, Mad Decent, Manimal Vinyl, Mono Prism, Ninja Tune, No Kings, Non Projects, Not Not Fun, Now Again, Permanent, Stones Throw, White Iris and Williams Street.
